Information Expert Passport

What exactly is the Information Expert Passport?

Our Information Expert Passport (IEP) program is organized under the auspices of Prof. Heiß, Vice-President for Education at the TU Berlin. The program has won two awards.

The following figure provides an overview of the learning units of the Information Expert Passport. The colors indicate the information literacy sub-competency the learning units are based on.

How to get your personal Information Expert Passport

After attending one of our library classes you will get your personal Information Expert Passport. It contains all learning units at beginners’, proficient and expert level. We stamp it for you after the attendance of each of our classes. After completing the self-study learning units you can fill in the date and sign yourself. You can get a stamp Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m.-04:30 p.m. as well as your own Information Expert Passport at our circulation desk.
