Information literacy

In today's modern information society information literacy is a key qualification with increasing relevance. Information literacy can be divided into the following sub-competencies:

  • Defining information needs
  • Finding information
  • Evaluating information
  • Manging and presenting information

As part of our information literacy program - Information Expert Passport (IEP) - we offer library classes, workshops and e-learning materials at beginners', proficient and expert level. Each level covers the four sub-competencies of information literacy. Thus, you can learn relevant skills exactly when you need them.

The following figure provides an overview of our double award-winning program.
