General information

We recommend that you link your research work uniquely to your person by means of a Research Identification Number. Registration on ORCID is free and is common practice.

We can assist you in your search for the right periodical for you to publish your work in and can advise you on questions relating to Open Access, in other words how you can make your research available to the general public for free via the Internet. As an author, you should take care not to relinquish all publication rights to a publishing house and ensure that a second Open Access publication remains possible. If in doubt, you can include an appropriate supplementary statement in the contract of publication.

You can also make use of the information and service options provided by the Berlin Universities Publishing House.

InDesign Hands-on training

Images created using power point or word are often very blurred when printed. We show you how you can create your graphics with a higher resolution using the Adobe inDesign program and Illustrator. No license is required for either program. Click here for a contact person: library team.
