24/7 access to E-Resources

All online resources are available on campus via the TU network and most are available off campus via Virtual Private Network VPN. Please use the server bib.vpn.tu-berlin.de. Off campus access is only possible for TU staff and students.

Full-text articles, e-books and e-journals: The Knowledge Portal Primo is the best place to start your search. It includes e-books and e-journals subscribed to by the libraries.
Databases: On this page you can find some links and descriptions to selected databases relevant to economics and management.
Free electronic resources: The University Library provides a supplementary list of electronic resources with free access. The page will be updated regularly.

The Economics and Management Library (DBWM) is now closed, but the librarians are working remotely and are ready to help.

Start with the Telegram Messenger group chat "DBWM Info" to chat with Help Desk Staff (Mon to Fri, 10 am - 6 pm). If the chat service is offline, forward your question via email to ausleihe[at]wm.tu-berlin.de and we will reply as soon as we are able.

Restricted service for borrowing (in the main university library )

As of 04.05.2020, a restricted borrowing service will be set up between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the main university library. Media from the main university library and the Architecture and Art Studies Department Library, the Physics Department Library, the Mathematics Library and the Economics and Management Library (DBWM) can be ordered and picked up there after notification by e-mail. The ordered media will be ready for pickup for a period of 3 days. You can find more detailed information on the website of the main library.

Copy order: Scan service for TU members

Individual articles or chapters from printed books and journals of the main university library/UB can be ordered as scans. A copy order can be ordered from the Knowledge Portal Primo. As of 11.5.20, copy orders can also be placed on DBWM media.

Borrowing and returning DBWM media

Borrowing

From 25.5.2020, DBWM media can ordered via the Knowledge Portal Primo. The media will be provided for you in the main university library/UB and can be borrowed and returned at the self-check-out counters. Please register in advance at the Knowledge Portal Primo and set up a PIN for the self-check-out counter (the postcode is preset).

Returning

Borrowed media can currently be extended indefinitely and there are no incurred fees.

Media can be returned in the self-return machine or in the anonymous return box (without return receipt) in the main university library.
