Using online resources off campus
The electronic books and journals that the University subscribes to can be found in the Knowledge Portal Primo and can be accessed around the clock. There are two options for using electronic media outside of the TU campus:
1. You can install a virtual private network (VPN) on your computer to log into the "virtual campus." To do this, you have to usevpn.tu-berlin.de/full. (Instructions for setting up a VPN)
2. You can use web-based authentication with the Shibboleth program to access the full texts. However, this option is not available for all electronic media.
PC study spaces and research PCs
You will find a research PC in the entrance area of the library, which you can use to browse the holdings of the Technische Universität Berlin libraries without a TU Berlin account.
Opposite the group rooms, you can find PC study spaces where you can work with your TU Berlin account. The study spaces have the following software programs installed: Software on the PC study spaces (PCs with TUB login)
